08/2017 - 06/2020 German Pharmaceutical Company, International

As part of this project, an existing Cognos 10.x server landscape (> 100 servers) has been transferred to a new Cognos Analytics 11.x.x server farm, using the multi-tenant functionality of IBM Cognos Analytics.

This server farm was provided for three regions (Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific), each for development, quality assurance and production. To configure and install, I developed a semi-automated process.

This consists of a web-based configuration program (Oracle APEX) and a batch-oriented installation process that runs completely independently. Hence it is possible that the latest configurations or software leases can be installed quickly and without errors.

I planned the migration of individual clients and managed the implementation of the migration by the individual teams. 

02/2015 - 09/2017 German IT Service Provider

The main task of this activity was to supervise the existing Cognos 7.5 cubes of the bank and to deal with any problems through an existing ticket system. In addition, within the scope of the project, the existing Cognos Transformer 7.5 models were migrated to Cognos 10.x.

05/2012 - 12/2014 German Pharmaceutical Company, International

The activities were carried out within the global platform team, which is responsible for the installation, operation and monitoring of the Cognos server infrastructure used worldwide. The Cognos Server Infrastructure is home to about 100 Cognos 10.x instances that are used for development, quality assurance and production. Furthermore, Cognos Planning and Cognos TM1 Server and Installations were supervised.

Implementation of a worldwide reporting system based on Cognos 8.x products for the analysis of data in the field of pharmaceutical applications.

Introduction of a Cognos product-based reporting system, analysis of transfer loads from application servers, and licensing of an internal application system.

10/2003 - 09/2004 Japanese Pharmaceutical Company, International

Establishment of a reporting system based on Cognos ReportNet products for the Domestic Sales division.
